Title: On solutions of Ax=1/x for a positive semi-definite matrix A

Abstract: Solutions (finite many) of Ax=1/x play important rule in several conjectures in probability and geometric functional analysis. We present an overview and partial results on various connections which include the $d$-th linear polarization constant, the complex plank problem, the optimal ellipsoids associated with decomposition of positive definite matrices, a geometric inequality for parallelepiped, and an optimization problem.
